Q uick and easy card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Peaceful Pine Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Hydrangea Hue Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/2" of tiny white dots on dark green vellum design from Berry Botanical Vellum 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Words Of Beauty Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the long, skinny sentiment of choice from the Words Of Beauty Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Peaceful Pine Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal Hydrangea Hue rectangle so the top edge is about 2-3/4" from the top of the rectangle and it is close to the right edge.
Put the Botanical Expressions Die on top of the Berry Botanical Vellum strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces and carefully remove the leaf strip cut out from the die. If it tears a little, don't worry, you'll glue it back together on the card front.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the leaf strip vellum cut out to the stamped Hydrangea Hue rectangle so it is just above the stamped sentiment. Use Detail Scissors to cut off excess vellum on the left and right edges.
Adhere the layered and stamped Hydrangea Hue rectangle to the front of the Peaceful Pine card.
Carefully remove one large detailed butterfly from the Gilded Wings Accents and use the Take Your Pick to remove all the little pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the body of the detailed butterfly accent to adhere it to the front of the card as shown.
Carefully remove two small, solid butterflies from the Gilded Wings Accents.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the small butterflies to the card front as shown.
