Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Hydrangea Hue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" of smaller line Hydrangea Hue plaid design from 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1/4" x 5-1/4" from Calypso Coral Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Hydrangea Hue Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle into the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder so the ferns are vertical on the vertical rectangle and about 1" of cardstock hangs out from the edge of the folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Paper to the right, unembossed edge of the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle so the top, right, and bottom edges are even.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the thin strip of Calypso Coral to the rectangle to hide the seam between the dry embossed Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and designer paper.
Adhere the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle to the front of the Hydrangea Hue card.
Pick out the arch die that is 2" x 3-1/4" from the Everyday Arches Dies. Put it on top of the Hydrangea Hue rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the arch die that is 1-5/8" x 2-7/8" from the Everyday Arches Dies. Put it on top of the larger white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Wild Bunch Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "just a little note" sentiment from the Wild Bunch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Hydrangea Hue Ink Pad. Stamp it near the top of the white arch so it is centered side to side.
Adhere the stamped white arch to the center of the Hydrangea Hue arch.
Adhere the matted arches to the front of the card as shown so they barely overlap the right edge of the thin Calypso Coral strip and are about 3/4" from the top of the card.
Mount the snail image from the Wild Bunch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Basic Black Hybrid Stampin' Pad. Stamp it on the remaining white rectangle. Allow to dry for a few minutes.
Put the snail image on some Crafting Grid Paper to protect your work surface since Stampin' Blends do bleed through.
Use the Light and Dark Hydrangea Hue Stampin' Blends to color in the snail's body and antennae.
Use the Light and Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends to color in the stripes on the snail's shell.
Use the Light and Dark Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the snail's shell.
Cut out the colored snail by hand using Detail Scissors.
Use Stampin' Blends to adhere the snail to the front of the card as shown so the back hangs over the left edge of the matted arches a bit.
Cut a 4" piece of the Hydrangea Hue 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot in place at a slight angle so it is centered over the bottom right corner of the matted arches.
