Basic Black: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", 5 1/4" x 4"
Very Vanilla: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" (layer between black)
5 1/4" x 2 1/4" (for front stamped piece)
5 1/4" x 1 1/2" (for Delicate Lace Edge)
5 1/4" x 4" (for inside of card)
Front of Card
For stamping, we will take the Very Vanilla 5 1/4" x 2 1/4" piece and stamp with the Very Versailles stamp set in Black Memento Ink. It doesn't probably matter, but I stamped in this order:
Art Deco Frame
Use a Sponge Dauber to ink around the edges if desired.
I borrowed a buttery from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, but any small butterfly would work. Stamp some Very Vanilla card stock with the butterfly followed by the words and punch it out. Ink around edges with Sponge Dauber.
The Delicate Lace Trim Die is designed to be added as a trim, so the left side does not cut. Line the left side up with the Very Vanilla Paper strip and cut out.
To put the card together layer the Very Vanilla and Black Card stock and adhere. Take the stamped Very Vanilla and adhere, leaving a small gap of black to the left. Adhere the Delicate Lace Trim, leaving a small gap to the left as well.
Adhere the butterfly and add pearls if desired.
I used double sided sticky tape to adhere a strip of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim ribbon to the front and added a bow.
Inside of Card
Stamp as desired from the Very Versailles stamp set and ink with Sponge Dauber.
Stamp as desired from the Very Versailles stamp set.
I LOVE using a vintage look when I craft. It's amazing what you can create when you layer stamps.
