Project Recipe
Score an 8-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Thick Basic White card stock at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side. Fold in half on the score line to create the card base.
Using a pencil, start by making a small mark on the left edge of a 4-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper, 1 inch from both the top and bottom edges. Then, rotate the paper 90° so the shorter edge is at the bottom, and make two additional marks on the new left edge: 2 inches from the top and 2 inches from the bottom. Next, align the opposite tick marks in a paper trimmer, and cut along the lines as shown in the diagram to create three interlocking shapes.
Adhere paper pieces as shown in the photograph to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Melon Mambo card stock using adhesive.
Take a length of ribbon and wrap it around the panel you’ve pieced together. Tie the ribbon in a bow on the left side, positioning it about one-third of the way down from the top of the panel, as shown in the photograph. Once the ribbon is tied, adhere the entire panel to the card base using adhesive.
Use a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a circle from Basic White cardstock using a die-cutting machine. Stamp the "hello friend" sentiment from the Charming Duck Pond stamp set onto the die-cut circle using Pebbled Path ink.
Next, cut a circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock with the same Stylish Shapes Die set. Adhere the stamped Basic White circle to the Granny Apple Green circle. Then, using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach both circles to the front of the card as shown in the photograph.
