Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Lost Lagoon Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Lost Lagoon Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 2-1/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Place the large white rectangle horizontally on some Grid Paper on your work surface.
Pick out the more open lattice mask from the Linked Together Decorative Masks. Place it over the cardstock so it is centered.
Tip: If desired, use a piece of washi tape or Post-It Notes to hold the mask in place.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Fresh Freesia Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush all over the openings in the mask. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.
Carefully remove the mask.
Pick out the small dotted flowers mask from the Linked Together Decorative Masks. Place it over the cardstock so it is centered and the dotted flowers are centered over the purple filled areas.
Tip: If desired, use a piece of washi tape or Post-It Notes to hold the mask in place.
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Lost Lagoon Ink Pad to get it inky. Pounce or gently rub the inky dauber all over the openings in the mask. Get more ink on the Sponge Dauber as needed.
Carefully remove the mask.
Adhere the stenciled white rectangle to the center of the large Lost Lagoon rectangle.
Pick out the label die from the Year Of Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the bottom of the white rectangle is pulled free and is on top of the die and the die is centered side to side. Run through the machine only far enough to cut the top of the rectangle with the top of the die. Repeat on the other end. Your finished strip should be about 3-3/4" long.
Unlock the bumpy, tag hole punch included in the Hole Punch Assortment. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one cut end of the white strip into the punch and get the punching area centered side to side at the top. Punch. Repeat on the other end.
As you are ready to stamp using the Tags Of Thanks Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you're the best" sentiment from the Tags Of Thanks Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Lost Lagoon Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched white strip.
Cut a 13" piece of the Lost Lagoon Soft Cording.
Fold the cording in half. Feed the ends through the punched areas on either side of the sentiment strip so the strip is evenly spaced on the cording.
Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment strip.
Adhere the sentiment strip to the center of the matted, stenciled layer making sure that an even amount of cording hangs out on each side.
Fold the ends of the cording over and secure the cording in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Lost Lagoon rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the one side of the small Lost Lagoon rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backings in place for now.
Pick out the large branch of leaves die and the small branch of leaves die from the Year Of Flowers Dies. Put them on top of the Lost Lagoon rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Lost Lagoon (blue) side is face up. Do NOT let the dies overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
One at a time, carefully remove the protective backings from the backs of the leaf stem cut outs. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown so they stick out from the bottom right side of the sentiment label.
Cut a 10" piece of the Lost Lagoon Soft Cording.
Slide one end of the cording under the two strands of cording on the left side of the sentiment strip. Tie in place with a bow. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one of each size gem from a sheet of Two Tone Sparkle Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
