L ovely card for lots of occasions using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 3-7/8" from Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock
- 3" x 3-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Barely Blush Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Scalloped Blooms Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "have a good day" sentiment from the Scalloped Blooms Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crisp Cantaloupe Ink Pad. Stamp it VERTICALLY on the horizontal, large white rectangle as shown so it is about 1-1/4" from the bottom edge and about 1/2" from the left edge.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the front of the Crisp Cantaloupe card.
Pick out the open, long, skinny strip with scallops along one edge die from the Scalloped Blooms Dies. Put it on top of the Barely Blush rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the scalloped strip cut out to the front of the card as shown so the scalloped edge is on the left and is roughly equal with the left edge of the stamped sentiment and the top edge is about 5/8" from the top of the card.
Insert the remaining, smaller white rectangle vertically into the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder so the large flower is in the bottom left corner. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Turn the dry embossed white cardstock upside down so the debossed side is on the top surface (the large flower should now be in the lower right corner). Put the rectangle on some Crafting Grid Paper to protect your work surface since Stampin' Blends do bleed through.
Use the Light and Dark Barely Blush and Light and Dark Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin' Blends to color in the debossed areas of the large flower.
Use the Light and Dark Barely Blush Stampin' Blends to color in the debossed areas of the petals of the medium flowers. Leave the centers uncolored.
Use the Light and Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends to color in the debossed areas of the leaves.
Starting off the edge of the colored, dry embossed rectangle, drag the open Basic Black Hybrid Stampin' Pad lightly across the surface of the debossed rectangle. Repeat until you have the coverage you want.
If needed, use the Stampin' Blends to add additional color to any debossed areas.
Adhere the colored, dry embossed rectangle to the center of the Crisp Cantaloupe rectangle.
Adhere the matted rectangle to the front of the card as shown so it is centered top to bottom and centered between the right side of the stamped sentiment and the right side of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large white flower from a sheet of Dreamy Flowers making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the scalloped strip on the card front as shown.
