T
he road into my neighborhood is called Tall Oaks Drive and for many reasons. There are dozens and dozens of huge oak trees, many more than 100 years old. My own property is filled with huge trees, which I love. So, it is no wonder one of my favorite stamp sets is Rooted in Nature. And while it is still summer, autumn will arrive before we know it and all the leaves will come tumbling down.
Project Recipe
Create a card base from Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
Stamp the front of the card base with the large leaf stamp using Cinnamon Cider ink.
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4 1/2" x 3 1/4". Stamp leaves randomly using these ink colors:
--Cajun Craze
--Cinnamon Cider
--Bumblebee
--Crumb Cake
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
Adhere the stamped piece to the Crumb Cake cardstock.
Thread the slide through the ribbon. Add the ribbon to the finished stamped piece and attach it to the back. I also used a glue dot under the slide.
Adhere the finished stamped piece to the card front.
On a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the sentiment as shown in the photo. Then use paper snips to separate the words. Add them to the card front.
