T his simple card was created with the Along These Lines stamp set combined with a sentiment from Blooming Phrases and some texture from the Glass and Garden embossing folder!
Project Recipe
Measurements:
Card Base (Basic White) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Card Stock Mat (Blueberry Bushel): 4" x 5 1/4"
Focal Mat (Basic White): 3 3/4" x 5"
Using the Glass & Gardens embossing folder at an angle, emboss the lower right corner of the Focal Mat as shown.
Using a Blending Brush and Real Red ink, add some color to the embossed area. (*Tip: line up a couple of Post-it notes along the top edge of the embossed area before blending. This will keep the rest of the card from from getting stray ink)
Using the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and a ruler, draw a line 1/4" above the embossed area.
Draw a second line 1/2" above the first in the same manner.
Stamp the "Hello There" sentiment in between the two drawn lines with Blueberry Bushel ink.
Stamp the bicycle image in Real Red ink along the top line as shown.
Adhere the Focal Mat to the Blueberry Bushel Card Stock Mat and then to the card base.
Embellish!
