P retty congratulations card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Darling Duckling Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of tiny yellow buds on green stems on white background design from Painterly Pears 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Darling Duckling Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 3" from Darling Duckling Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Painterly Pears Designer Paper to the center of the Darling Duckling rectangle and then to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 1-3/4" x 4" Mossy Meadow rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large stem with leaves die from the Perfectly Pears Dies. Put it on top of the Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Mossy Meadow (green) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Mount the large, single, solid pear image from the Perfectly Pears Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Darling Duckling Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large Darling Duckling rectangle.
Mount the large, single, outline pear image from the Perfectly Pears Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid pear on the Darling Duckling rectangle.
Pick out the matching large pear die from the Perfectly Pears Dies. Put it on top of the pear image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Mount the outline leaves and stem image from the Perfectly Pears Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, smaller Mossy Meadow rectangle.
Mount the solid leaves and stem image from the Perfectly Pears Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it inside the previously stamped leaves and stem image.
Pick out the matching leaves and stem die from the Perfectly Pears Dies. Put it on top of the leaves and stem image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue at the bottom of the stem to adhere the leaves and stem cut out to the top of the pear cut out as shown.
Mount the "congratulations" sentiment from the Perfectly Pears Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, skinny Darling Duckling rectangle.
Pick out the long, skinny label die from the Perfectly Pears Dies. Put it on top of the sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered. Run through the machine.
Use scissors to cut the large leaf stem into two pieces.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the two leaf stem pieces, the assembled pear with leaves and stem, and the sentiment cut out in the center of the card front to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the layout, adhere the pieces in place one at a time. Peel off the protective backings on the leaf stem pieces to adhere them. Use Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the pear with leaves and stem. Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out.
Cut a 10" piece of the Mossy Meadow & Gold 1/4" Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle so it overlaps the bottom left side of the pear and the left side of the sentiment cut out a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Mossy Meadow dot from a sheet of Low Profile Sparkle Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the bottom left side of the pear on the card front as shown.
