Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and scissors:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2 pieces each 1-1/4" x 5" of soccer balls on dark green design from A Wonderful Match 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 7/8" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-5/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the two strips of A Wonderful Match Designer Paper to the front of the Granny Apple Green card so they are evenly spaced.
Pick out the goal net die from the Match Day Dies. Put it on top of the thin strip of white cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine on one end so you'll cut a notch in the end of the white strip. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Match Day Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "goal" sentiment from the Match Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the notched white strip as close to the notched edge as possible with the notch on the right side.
Adhere the stamped "goal" strip to the front of the card as shown so the notches overlap the right edge of the rightmost designer paper strip and the top of the strip is about 2-1/4" from the top of the card.
Mount the shirt image from the Match Day Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large Granny Apple Green rectangle.
Mount the "#1" image from the Match Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the top of the stamped shirt.
Pick out the matching shirt die from the Match Day Dies. Put it on top of the stamped shirt image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the shirt cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it overlaps the left end of the sentiment strip and the left edge of the leftmost designer paper strip a bit. The top of the shirt should be about 1-1/4" from the top of the card.
Mount the flag image from the Match Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small Granny Apple Green rectangle. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it twice on the 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" white strip remembering to re-ink the stamp each time and leaving room to cut the images out.
Mount the "#1" image from the Match Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped Granny Apple Green flag image.
Pick out the matching flag die from the Match Day Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped flag images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other two flag images.
Use Stampin' Seal to adhere the two white flag images to the card front as shown so the one on the left overlaps the top of the shirt cut out a bit and the bottoms of the poles are tucked under the top of the sentiment strip.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the green flag cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered between the two white flags and the bottom of the pole is tucked under the top of the sentiment strip.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Basic Black square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the detailed soccer ball die from the Match Day Dies. Put it on top of the black square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the black side is up.. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the back of the soccer ball cut out and adhere it to the center of the remaining white square.
Use Detail Scissors to cut off excess white cardstock around the outside edge of the soccer ball.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the soccer ball to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom left side of the shirt cut out and the left side of the leftmost designer paper strip a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large black star from a sheet of Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown in the angle between the bottom right side of the shirt cut out and the bottom left side of the sentiment strip.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small black stars from a sheet of Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the white flags on the card front as shown.
