T hank you card inspired by World Card Making Day 2025 and using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Berry Burst Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square of light purple/pink bokeh pattern from Beautiful Bokeh 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, you will cut it again in a later step
- 1" x 2-1/8" from Fresh Freesia Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Mount the ribbon image from the Love & Courage Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper square. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the paper.
Use the Paper Trimmer to cut the stamped designer paper square into 4 smaller squares, each 1-3/4" square.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the stamped squares on the vertical, large white rectangle to figure out placement and spacing as shown. When happy with the layout, adhere the pieces in place one at a time.
Use scissors to cut off any excess designer paper on the edges of the white rectangle.
Adhere the white rectangle with designer paper squares attached to the front of the Berry Burst card.
Mount the "thank you for supporting me throughout my battle" sentiment from the Love & Courage Set on Block H. Ink up ONLY the words "thank you" using the side of the brush tip of the Berry Burst Stampin' Write Marker. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Fresh Freesia rectangle as close to the top edge as possible. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Adhere the stamped Fresh Freesia rectangle to the card front as shown so it is at an angle and is centered over the bottoms of the top two squares.
Ink up ONLY the words "for supporting me throughout my battle" on the sentiment on Block H using the side of the brush tip of the Berry Burst Stampin' Write Marker. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, small white rectangle. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Pick out the stitched banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a banner that is 1/2" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Fresh Freesia 1/8" Faux Velvet Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the ribbon to the back of the sentiment label cut out so it is centered and the ends stick out past the notches.
Remove the protective backings from the Stampin' Dimensionals and adhere the sentiment cut out with ribbon attached to the front of the card as shown so it is at an angle and is centered under the word "thank you."
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small Berry Burst dots from a sheet of Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
