Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Melon Mambo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/8" square from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 3" square of lighter pink roses on darker pink background design from Marbled Elegance 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" squares of swirled pinks, white, and gold design from Marbled Elegance 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Gold Foil Sheets
Insert the large white rectangle into the 3D Embossing Folder included with the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder so the hearts are vertical on the vertical rectangle. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Hearts Of Elegance Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Love You" sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 3" roses Marbled Elegance Designer Paper square so it is closer to the top and left edges.
Adhere the stamped designer paper square to the center of the Flirty Flamingo square.
Adhere the matted designer paper square to the left side of the dry embossed white rectangle as shown so it is about 1/2" from the top and the left edge overlaps the left edge of the white rectangle a bit. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess cardstock/designer paper along the left edge.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle with stamped and matted designer paper square attached to the front of the Melon Mambo card.
Pick out the heart die that cuts out a heart that is 2-3/8" across from the Hearts Of Elegance Dies. Put it on top of the marbled Marbled Elegance Designer Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the heart cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the lower right side of the matted designer paper square and is about 1/2" from the right edge of the card and about 3/4" from the bottom of the card.
Mount the rose image from the Hearts Of Elegance Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image again several times over the top of the previously stamped image to fill in as much of the white spaces as possible with lighter ink.
Pick out the matching, open rose die from the Hearts Of Elegance Dies. Put it on top of the rose image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the rose cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom of the matted designer paper square and overlaps the left side of the heart cut out a bit.
Unlock the Bough Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one end of the Gold Foil Sheets strip into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other end of the strip so you punch out a second small bough.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the foil bough punch outs to the front of the card as shown so the ends of the stems are hidden under the flower cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Bubble Bath sequin from a sheet of Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the flower cut out on the card front as shown.
