Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and scissors:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 3/78" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4-3/4" of very light pink elongated drops on pink background design from Boho Vibes 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
Pick out the stitched circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-1/4" diameter. Put it on top of one end of the Boho Vibes Designer Paper strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Repeat two more times so you have 3 small designer paper circles.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the three designer paper circles on the vertical white rectangle as shown.
Mount the small mushroom image from the Gathering Moments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Secret Sea Ink Pad. Stamp it 4 times onto the white rectangle as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and change the orientation each time.
Mount the acorn image from the Gathering Moments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it 4 times onto the white rectangle as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and change the orientation each time.
Remove the designer paper circles. Put your stamped white rectangle on top of some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Uncap the brush tip end of the Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends. Hold the tip a couple of inches above the stamped white cardstock. Hit the end of the blends marker sharply with the Bone Folder to make splatters. Move the blends marker around so you splatter the entire rectangle.
Tip: The closer you hold the tip of the blends marker to the cardstock the darker and larger the splatters will be.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Petal Pink 5/16" Braided Trim.
Carefully tease apart the loose ends of the braided trim on both sides until only about 1/2" of the trim is unteased in the center.
Put a small strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive at a slight angle vertically on the stamped and splattered white rectangle so it is about 1" from the right side and is just to the right of the stamped mushroom in that row.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strip and adhere the teased apart trim strip to it as shown.
Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the The Right Words Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Secret Sea Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal Cajun Craze strip so it is centered top to bottom and slightly closer to the left edge.
Pick out the stitched banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a banner that is 1/2" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered top to bottom and the sentiment is closer to the left side. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment strip cut out to the white rectangle so it is centered over the teased apart trim hiding the solid area of the trim in the center and goes off the right edge. Use scissors to trim off excess Cajun Craze cardstock on the right edge as needed.
Adhere the white rectangle to the center of the large Cajun Craze rectangle and then to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Trim the ends of the teased apart trim as needed using scissors.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 of each size dot from a sheet of Cajun Craze & Gold Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
