Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Calypso Coral at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pecan Pie Two-Tone 12" x 12" Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" from Calypso Coral Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/4" of smaller pinks and browns plaid design from Timeless Plaid 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2 pieces each 2" x 4" from Basic Beige Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the Pecan Pie Two-Tone rectangle vertically into the Damask Designs Embossing Folder so the designs are vertical on the vertical rectangle and the lighter brown color of the cardstock is face up where you can read the logo on the front flap of the folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Gently rub a sanding block or sandpaper across the dry embossed area of the rectangle to make the white core show through in some places.
Adhere the dry embossed and sanded Pecan Pie Two-Tone Cardstock to the front of the Calypso Coral card.
Adhere the piece of Timeless Plaid Designer Paper to the center of the Calypso Coral rectangle.
Adhere the matted rectangle to the front of the card as shown so it is centered top to bottom and is about 1/2" from the right edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Gallery Blooms Set or Beautiful Motifs Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the Queen Anne's lace image from the Gallery Blooms Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Basic Beige Ink Pad. Stamp it on one of the Basic Beige rectangles. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it on the other Basic Beige rectangle.
Pick out the matching Queen Anne's lace die from the Gallery Blooms Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped floral images on on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other floral image.
Adhere one of the Queen Anne's lace cut outs to the right side of the matted designer paper rectangle using Stampin' Seal so it is centered top to bottom and is close to the right edge.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other Queen Anne's lace cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the first floral image and is slightly higher.
Mount the "you've been on my mind" sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Very Vanilla square.
Pick out the circle die with three petal flowers along the edge that cuts out a 1-5/8" circle from the Spotlight On Nature Dies. Put it on top of the sentiment stamped square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the floral stems a bit.
Cut a 10" piece of the Basic Beige 3/8" Classic Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle so it is centered over the bottom right side of the sentiment circle cut out and the bottom of the floral stems.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one of each size pearl from a sheet of Antique Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
