A Christmas stocking is so fun to include on your Christmas card. The A Stitched Season suite includes so many pieces that makes it easy to make a card like this.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Old Olive cardstock 7 ¼ X 5 ½, score at 4 ¼. Fold on the score line.
Card Mat: Cut Real Red cardstock 2 ¾ X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut ivy print paper from A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper 2 ¾ X 5 ¼. Attach the ivy print paper to the red card mat. Attach these papers to the card front.
Use the large stocking die from the Stitched Stocking die set to cut a stocking from Real Red cardstock.
Use the SMALL stocking die from the Stitched Stocking die set to cut a stocking from Real Red cardstock. Use the square die with star insert to cut a quilt square from Old Olive cardstock. Attach this quilt square to the small red stocking.
Use the cuff die in the Stitched Stocking die set to cut a cuff from Shimmering Stripes paper. Attach the cuff to the top of the large red stocking. Attach the small red stocking to the large red stocking below the cuff. Add a red Adhesive Backed Mini Christmas button to the right side of the cuff.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the LEFT side of the stocking to the card front.
Card Insert: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a red/white print paper from A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper 1 ½ X 5 ¼. Attach this paper to the right side of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Stitched Stocking stamp set with Old Olive ink on the insert before attaching the card inside the card base.
Envelope: Cut a 2 ¼ X 6 piece of the paper that you used on the card front. Attach to the envelope flap and trim using the envelope flap as a guide.
